Technology oriented education is becoming technology oriented where technology adoption is accelerating and considering this acceleration. India is launching its first national digital University in the year 2023.

So let us try and understand implication of it and what Exactly It is going to get the benefit. What benefits? It will provide to the student community. So basically, in order to promote flexible higher education options, and improve employability in various areas, India is set to launch its first digital University in 202.

So University will initially offer certificate and diploma programs with degree courses to follow. So digital content will be hosted on the swayam platform of the government. And various administrative Services would be managed by samarth latform. So this is, this is definitely going to be big step toward digital transformation of Education in India.

So if you consider according to an article published by forbes India’s, Edtech industry is growing at a fast pace. And it’s predicted to reach 10.4 billion by the end of year 2025 with 37 million paid users for Edtech tools.

Even Economics times reported that India’s education Technology industry Market is poised to reach 30 billion US Dollar by the end of this decade. So it is definitely growing at a faster rate year on year and this tape of starting adigital University makes significant as India has seen positive trend in it in the recent year.

Even according to reports by KPMG covid-19 pandemic has accelerated adoption of digital education and with the significant rise in the number of students and teachers going and using online platform.

So the launch of digital University can see, there is a big step in the digital education after the launch of digital course Library by the government. So if you consider overall timeline of India’s digital education adoption.

So, even according to a report by BARC, India and Nelson, average time spent on the educational app in India, increased by more than 30% ,report Also suggests that number of downloads for Education, app has increased by a 115% in the last two to three years.

Technology can certainly play a key role in order to improve quality of the education. So to conclude launch of national digital University is definitely one of the biggest development in education system.
