What it does

The course material is the AI’s knowledge base

Every module a faculty member publishes becomes something students can talk to, revise from, quiz themselves on and listen to.

Teach with AI

Faculty upload what they already have; AI builds the study experience around it.

  • Add sources in multiple formats to each module
  • Generate AI podcasts and transformations from the material
  • Write notes and embed media alongside the sources
  • Publish or unpublish a module whenever it is ready

Learn with AI

Every student gets a tutor that knows the syllabus and nothing else.

  • Module chat grounded in that module’s material only
  • Quizzes, flashcards and mind maps for revision
  • Audio lessons to study on the go
  • Private chat history and personal progress

Own your AI

Your institution’s data and AI choices stay yours.

  • Self-hosted on your own infrastructure
  • Choose from 18+ AI providers, or run local models
  • Open-source core, so there is no lock-in
  • Admins configure models and providers centrally

Who does what

Three roles, one structure

Admin

Creates courses and batches, attaches courses to batches, manages users and passwords, configures AI models and providers, and sets the institute logo. Sees everything.

Faculty

Builds course modules: adds sources, writes notes, generates podcasts, embeds media and publishes modules. Sees progress for their own courses.

Student

Sees the published modules for their batches, then reads, chats, studies, watches and listens. Has private chat history and personal progress.

Onboard an entire cohort with one code

  1. 1

    Course

A subject with its own course code, for example CS201 Data Structures.

  2. 2

    Module

A unit within a course, backed by its own AI notebook. A course has many modules.

  3. 3

    Batch

A cohort of students, for example BCA 2026. One course can be offered to many batches.

  4. 4

    Invite code

Students join a batch with its code; faculty join a course with theirs. No spreadsheets, no manual accounts.

FAQ

Questions about Eklavvya LMS

What makes Eklavvya LMS “AI-first”?

AI is not a chatbot bolted onto a traditional LMS. The course material is the AI’s knowledge base: every module a faculty member publishes becomes something students can talk to, revise from, quiz themselves on and listen to.

Will the AI tutor answer from outside the syllabus?

No. Module chat is grounded in that module’s material only, so students get answers drawn from what their faculty published rather than from the open internet.

What do faculty need to prepare?

Only what they already have. Faculty add their existing material as sources to a module, and the AI builds quizzes, flashcards, mind maps and audio lessons from it. They can also write notes, embed media and generate podcasts.

How do students and faculty join?

Students self-register with a batch invite code. Faculty register with a course invite code, which assigns them to that course automatically. Admins can regenerate codes at any time, and deactivating a batch stops new joins while existing members keep their access.

Can we choose which AI model it uses?

Yes. Admins configure the AI models and providers, with 18+ providers supported, or local models for institutions that want AI to run entirely on their own servers.

Where is our data hosted?

Eklavvya LMS is self-hosted, so course material, student chats and progress stay on infrastructure your institution controls.

Can faculty see who is falling behind?

Yes. Faculty see progress for their own courses, so they can tell which students have covered which modules. Admins see progress across every course.
